Due to the bulky nature of the products featured on this page, many of our carriers impose strict restrictions on the number of bundles/bags that we are able to send out in a single consignment. To get round this we split larger orders into smaller consignments to avoid being 'bulked', this will in some instances delay the completion of your order. POLYETHYLENE BUBBLE FILM

Bubble film has proved to be one of the most versatile packaging materials of recent years. Being soft and flexible and yet displaying incredible tear resistance, bubble film has earned itself a place in almost every packaging environment. Available ex-stock in two different bubble sizes, nine roll width options as well as anti-static, double laminated and ultra violet inhibited (UVI) for use in greenhouse environments for insulation.. 

Small bubble film: When comparing our prices with those of our competitors, please bear in mind that our rolls are 100 mtrs in length. Our prices are per pack as described, not per roll unless of course there is only 1 roll in the pack.

Anti-Static Small bubble film: The pink stuff! This Bubble Wrap employs an anti-static additive that dissipates static charge, thereby protecting the sensitive electronic components from static charges that may damage them. It has a pink colouring added in order to be able to differentiate it from other types of bubble film. All sizes of bubble can be manufactured so as to be anti-static but we only keep, on the shelf, the most commonly used splits. If you have a requirement for a particular size, just drop us a line and we will be happy to quote.

Foil Bubble: Foil laminated bubble has a number of uses, from simply decorative to thermal insulation. From stock we hold 2 types of decorative foil laminate, a silver and a red. The foil laminate is to one side only on the decorative films but on those used for insulation the foil is often laminated to both faces. Please enquire with the sales office if you have a requirement for the insulation films as we do not hold them on the shelf.

Large bubble film: As with the small bubble, when comparing our prices with those of our competitors, please bear in mind that our rolls are 50 mtrs in length. Our prices are per pack as described, not per roll, unless of course there is only 1 roll in the pack.

We are also able to supply to special order, non standard roll widths, perforated film, foil laminated, as well as cut sheets and bags. In the case of the UVI bubble we are able to supply to a maximum width of 2400mm.

Ultra Violet inhibited (UVI) double laminated film bubble film: This is one hell of a description for what is in principal a very simple product. Basically it is a heavy duty bubble film that has not only flat film on one side of the bubble but on both sides, in effect encapsulating the bubble between a polythene sandwich. On top of this the films that are used for this material have additives to slow the process of the film being broken down by the action of sunlight. This product is used extensively for the insulation of greenhouses etc. It can of course also be used for applications where the requirements are for more of a Rolls Royce type solution as opposed to something a little more bog standard.

Anti-Static Bubble bags: Made from small bubble film these bags are ideal for protecting small objects within other packaging. They all have peel off permanent self seal adhesive tape closures on a 30mm lip. At present we have them in plain and anti-static film (pink tint) but in future we shall be doing only the anti-static and all at the same price as plain film.

These packs have been designed to get round some of the restrictions imposed by carriers on bulky materials. BIO-DEGRADABLE LOOSE FILL MATERIAL

In recent years there has developed an increasing demand for bio-degradable packaging materials. To be honest many that are made from paper or card are already bio-degradable or recyclable (if you can find someone willing to do so). Polythene products however are still way behind, partly due to the increase in costs to manufacture a truly bio-degradable product, something that unfortunately the market at present will not bear. This product is however the business where bio-degradability comes in, made from starch, the stuff simply dissolves in contact with water and is naturally broken down, and I am not talking here in the time scale of millennia but as fast as the microbes can get a good feed from the stuff. In fact you can even eat it yourself (I would not recommend too much though) yes, we have all tried it, to paraphrase Paul Hogan in the film Crocodile Dundee "tastes like s#@t, but you can pack with it", well something like that.
