BROWN KRAFT WRAPPING PAPERS

We stock two main types of brown kraft wrapping papers, these are, imitation kraft and pure kraft. The main differences between the two are that the pure is as it name suggests made of pure wood pulp, whereas the imitation is manufactured from recycled paper fibres. This gives the pure kraft the properties of higher strength and is a more durable paper, the imitation has a lower burst strength but is quite suitable for the majority of applications.

	Counter Roll Holders An ideal way of dispensing kraft papers, just pull and tear against the bar mounted blade. Can be mounted above or below the bench or wall mounted, fixings supplied. Aluminium construction and capable of holding rolls with a diameter of up to 200mm.

Single faced corrugated paper is available in roll form from stock (all rolls 75mtrs.), or pre-cut to order subject to minimum quantity.

Intermediate sizes are available to order subject to a minimum of 5 rolls.

A self seal version of single faced corrugated is available called CushionWrap

Single wall and double walled corrugated sheets are pre cut to your requirements and are to order only.

CREPE KRAFT ROLLS

Used for the protection of awkward shaped products, very often those of a tubular construction.

Two types are available 80mm width x 80mm dia. (168 pcs/carton) and 80mm width x 100mm dia. (108 pcs/carton).

CUSHIONWRAP

Available to order this material is essentially a medium duty single faced corrugated paper which is coated with cohesive. Ideal for packing of books, CD's, videos etc. The bond is effected just by pressing the coated surfaces together, the adhesive will not bond to the product, just to itself.

Available in roll form (roll length100m) 300mm, 360mm, 450mm all packed singly.

Or in sheet form:- 280mm x 350mm, 350mm x 430mm, 350mm x 530mm, 400mm x 530mm, 460mm x 580mm these are all in packs of 100 pcs. except for the 280 x 350 which is packed 200 pcs.

GLOBULAR EMBOSSED PAPER

Used originally mainly in the 'potteries' as an interleaving between plates and other crockery in order to prevent abrasion and give some degree of cushioning. Essentially the product is best described as a common brown kraft paper which has been embossed over its surface with small dimples. This paper is a very useful and environmentally friendly means of both wrapping items prior to packing in cartons, as well as a scrunch fill for filling voids left in cases after packing. We can supply from stock 900mm x 75mtr x 95gm² rolls and can supply to order both rolls and pre cut sheets (often used in fruit packing).

INDUSTRIAL PAPERS

This description covers a very large group of products that are designed and manufactured more or less with a specific application in mind. These can include moisture absorbent and or resistant papers, waxed papers and barrier films. We tend to limit our stock to the most popular types and sizes, but please enquire if you have a particular requirement. Listed below are two common types, kraft union is a laminate of kraft papers and bitumen and is used as a water vapour barrier and waxed kraft, again used as barrier paper and is frequently used for the wrapping of engineering components etc. (all the below x 100m)

BLEACHED KRAFT BAGS WITH P.P. FRONTS

Very often used for photographs, craft goods and bakery products, these bags have a bleached white back with a crystal clear polypropylene front. All bags are packed in cartons of 1000.

* This is a gusseted bag suited for baps etc. the 100mm dimension is the flat folded dimension, the 150mm is the full width when the gussets are pulled out to their fullest extent, the last dimension is the length of the bag.
