This product can be made to almost any size and gauge, plain, coloured or printed (all subject to minimum's). Can be used for packing of long items or made into bags with the use of a heat sealer . Standard widths and gauges kept on the shelf are as listed below.
Since layflat tubing is very often used as a sleeve around cylindrical objects, we have added a column showing the MAXIMUM diameter of object that can be covered by the tube. The measurement is the absolute maximum and makes no allowance for ease of putting the tubing on, or indeed for any variation that can occur between batches of film. We would always recommend that you go for the next size up for ease of application.

A very handy tool to have in almost any packing environment. We stock 3 sizes at present in two specifications. Very simple in operation the user simply presses the top bar down onto the film to be sealed and a heating element welds the polythene to itself. Each model has a small electronic timer situated at the front of the machine which allows the operator to accurately seal materials of different gauges. The thicker the film, the longer you set the timer to run, its as simple as that.
We also carry on the shelf a range of consumables such as the element wires as well as the Teflon tapes.
