| Step 1 Cut pad to required size and immerse in water for around 10-15 minutes | Step 2 Shake off excess water and allow 10 minutes to dry (towel dry if required quickly) | Step 3 Lay plastic laminated side down in freezer, and stack on top of each other to freeze. Ensure each time that plastic laminate side goes to fabric side to avoid sticking when frozen. |
Allow a minimum of 3 hours for freezing.
| Packing Instructions 1. Select a frozen pad size to cover the majority of the surface area. 2.Place frozen pad on top of produce. If pads are frozen below -20°C, and likely to be in direct contact with the food, a polythene sheet should be positioned between the product and the frozen pad. 3.The products should ideally be packed as close to 0°C as is practical, in insulated packaging. |
Some Useful Information 1. Warm water will accelerate hydration step. 2.Pads can be safely frozen to -40°C (see packing instruction 2). 3. Use the frozen pad only once for food products. 4. The pads are environmentally safe. |
